Funny. Just plain funny. Not forgetting hellooOoo WEIRD! But we shan't go there today because i'm in a good mood. LOL. In all white. I'm loving my outfit today. Just hope i don't splash anything on my pants. Trust me, i AM quite capable of it. I leave my house looking pristine in white and i come back with polka-dotted coffee or sambal stained pants. Spongebob & Clumsy Farah pants. Keke.
So now, as mentioned by Miss Tini in my tagboard, the countdown starts. Today marks another 15 more days before the 'nikah'. Just 15 more days. I have to admit, my heart's starting to thump a lot more these days. Not out of anxiety to be married. Definitely not that. It's just anxiety ensuring everything will proceed smoothly. Will go according to plan and that includes coordinating photographers, florists, decorators,bridal salon owners, bridesmaids and many, many more.
And for the love of God, would you guys believe it if i said Naz & i mulled over what we can do for our berkats for over a month? Yes, a whole month. We just couldn't decide how to go about decorating our dinner berkats. We scoured many bookstores with hope of finding the elusive decorating idea that has eluded us so far. Ribbons, paper, appliques and what nots started popping out of my vocabulary. Heh. So after countless trips to Kinokuniya and Borders, we almost gave up until Naz suggested going a floor up to check out the Orchard library. That didn't help. All they had were books on crochet. BUT, as we headed to the escalator, we stumbled upon this quaint art shop. Small and cosy. I was in heaven. All sorts of art stuffs that had me glued. Pebbles, crayons, stickers. You name it, it's all there. So as i sauntered around, something caught my eye and i was won over. Presto. We found what we wanted. Or rather what was within our budget. It's very sweet and sOoo just us. :)
Now, my younger brother has been tasked to decorate the berkats for me. Heh. I actually bribed him $0.20 per item. Yes, i know what you guys are thinking. Only 20 puluh sen? Haha, even the kiddo laughed hysterically. But told him,wait! There's a total of about 250 dinner berkats so $0.20x250=$50! Told him, nobody's going to give him 50 smackeroos for doing something that simple.Enough said. As i'm writing this now, he's busying his socks off with em' berkats.

This has been quite a week. I guess it's all part & parcel of life. Upheavals especially as you're about to be married. These are normal right? My pals call it 'cobaan'.
However, i'm looking forward to this Saturday. *giggles*
Something's telling me it's going to be a RIOT!
