Okay, so the latest 'hot from the oven' news is Mr Hady has won the Singapore Idol. While i'm happy one of our own has won, i have to admit i was actually rooting for dear ole Jonathan. I am a little disappointed. Okay before anyone comes out with guns blazing, i have to say i voted for him simply because he's an affable chap, down to earth and pretty easy-going. Quite a gentleman to boot as well. Naz and a couple of friends have despaired and gave up on persuading me to vote for Hady. But CONGRATS la Abang Hady. Steady bo-pipi la!!! Make us proud!
Back to the original reason why i wanted to write this post tonight. In 3 weeks time, someone will turn 29. Heh, yes it's my beautiful Naz who'll be celebrating his birthday soon. One more year before the big 3-0 darling. *giggles*
Anyways, this year i'm better prepared than the last when i had to squeeze in a frenetic lunch break to get his present. Bad me!
Naz's birthdays these past years have *always* been during periods when i'm up to my neck with projects at work. But i've given some thoughts to his present this year. I can go along and get him what he's asked though i think he's just being nice and doesn't want me to spend too much. However, i'm thinking of a nice pair of something else.
Cantik kan?!! I *LOVE* these shoes. You know i've shown this to him but all i got was a vague "ok-la".
Ok la?!!! Alamak hilang semangat sekejaps. But i guess i have to buy what he likes, not what i like for him to have. *bah*
Bottomline, that's thw whole ides of getting a present for some right?!
However the juiciest nugget of information is my own birthday is coming up. Major hint hun, kekekekeke! Just slightly a month after Naz's. My current obsession after dabbling with Le Divorce and Devil wears Prada...

Oh god ladies, think Grecian goddess??!! Okay maybe not so much on me but isn't this dress altogether delicious?
*sighs dreamily*
But where the heck am i going to wear this dress to? Nada. Even if there is The Ivy-style restaurant in Singapore, i can probably wear it once or the most twice before it becomes a relic in my wardrobe.
But it is a gorgeous dream outfit. Heh. Ok la, i think i've rambled enough about what i want. It's time to focus on my husband's present. I'll let you gals know once i've decided.
